    Fabulous copycat recipe for Mrs. Field's Chocolate Chip Cookies. Use only the BEST ingredients. Bake 9 minutes--no longer! Uses 1 1/2 bags chocolate chips.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (2 sticks)
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (packed)
    • 2 large eggs
    • 2 1/2 tsp. real vanilla extract (no imitation vanilla flavoring)
    • 2 1/2 cups Gold Medal UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods (I prefer using 3 1/2 cups flour))
    • 3/4 tsp. sea salt (or kosher salt)
    • 1 tsp. baking powder
    • 1 tsp. baking soda
    • 1 1/2 12-oz. bags semi-sweet chocolate chips ((or 18-oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips))
